EasterHunt presents itself as an interactive family devotional application tailored for iOS devices, specifically the iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch. Its primary function is to facilitate parents in guiding their children toward the teachings of the Gospel through engaging games and devotionals. The app features two distinct sets of games. In the first, children search for eggs within a park-themed setting by tapping on different areas of the screen. Upon locating an egg, players transition to the “Open the Egg” game, where various puzzles await - from tapping and shaking to painting the egg. With twelve individually crafted devotionals, EasterHunt allows families to either embark on a twelve-day countdown to Easter or enjoy multiple devotionals in one sitting.

The app provides options for customizing gameplay, including toggling music and sound effects. Additionally, users can revisit previous levels via a level select menu as they aim to “collect” eggs within an Easter Basket interface.
